Warm up (10 mins)
Description:
- Play starts at coach, player looks to receive and return back to coach
- Player will then drop off and receive taking touch inside and back to coach
Dimensions:
- 5 yards between mannequins

Control (20 mins)
Description:
- Player starts at 'S', quick feet through the ladders
- Drive into the square and we can talk about the following touches before finishing
- across body on back foot
- control and shift with outside of foot
- touch back from where ball came from
- across body on back foot
Dimensions:
- Distance from goal 10 yards
Coaching Points:
- Deceleration before taking touch
- quick shift in movement away from defender
- cushion your touch to allow you to drive onto it without breaking stride

Receive, Drive and Turn (20 mins)
Description:
- Coach plays ball into the player who has moved off defender
- Play opens and drives toward middle mannequin
- turns toward third mannequin with sharp turn
- Protective turn and then finish
Dimensions:
- 10 yards between each station
Progressions:
Coaching Points:
- Sharp explosive movements away from defender
- close control
- low centre of gravity for quick turn

Control and Play (20 mins)
Description:
- 1st movement around the defender, dropping deep and coach will play ball through for a finish
- 2nd movement is coach bounces with player, player checks off and coach plays ball through for finish
Progressions:
- Add in mannequin either side of the second practice forcing player to take another touch either inside or outside
Coaching Points:
- Sharp movements off the ball
- decelerate before reaching the ball before finish
- Communication and demands for the ball
