Functional Practise - High Pressure in Final 3rd
Description: Players are split into two teams with each lining up on either end of the grid. Players come into the grid on a "Go" call. If the ball is played to a team, they send 3 players in. The defending team can send in 4. Replicating a midfield 4 of a 1-3-4-1. Objective is to dribble between the gaps of the oppostions starting position.
Progression 1 - Players need to knock the ball off the cone instead of dribbling.
Coaching Points:
1) Trigger - As the ball moves, open body shape, creep
2) Aggression - Press with intent and put the breaks on in player is in comfortable possession
3) Quality of Passing - W,T,D,A,D

Functional Practise - High Pressure From the Front w/ CF
Description: 4 grid game. Blues are scoring in the big goal with the red team scoring in the 2 small goals. Each team has different conditions. Blue team can send 2 into the red 1/3 and the Reds can drop in player to link in the Blue 2/3
Coaching Points:
1) Aggression - Shift to next area fast and look to TTA early
2) Pressure - Force inside to numerical advantage
3) Back 3 - One follows in depending on where the ball is
