Session looked to enhance the teams capability to create goal scoring chances and take the chances. Hotting the target is key and where the shots are hit. Are players finding corners of the goal or are they hotting their shots too close to the goalkeeper.

Time: 30 Minutes
Set Up:
-Same pitch with middle section split in half.
-Split players into 2 groups on each side.
-1 player from each team start in 1.
-3 of each in 2.
-Same in 3 and 4.
-Excess players on side.
Exercise:
-Coach serves ball into 2 and 3 respectively.
-Team who wins possession looks to play the ball to their player in 1 and 4 respectively or run with the ball into 1 or 4.
-Once in there have a 2v1 and look to score.
-Once play dead the players in 1 move to group 3 and 4 go to 2.
-Keep this rotation going for 12 minutes.
-After about 12 minutes remove the cones to make 2 and 3 one zone again.
-This time 6v6 in middle and designate which way team attacks.
Key Points:
-Transition of the ball into the attacking 3rd.
-Clinical attacking play to get a shot on target.

Set Up:
-Half pitch as shown.
-2 teams in a 3-2-3 with both teams having a number 10 but they start off the pitch behind opposition team goal.
Exercise:
-Play under 11v11 rules.
-Initially play 9v9.
-On coach call he designates which teams number 10 can enter the play and play 10v9.
-Coach will alternate as required.
-Change to team in possession number 10 only plays but if team loses possession for longer than 10 to 30 seconds then other number 10 comes on with other going off.
-Play last 5 to 8 minutes both number 10s on the pitch.
Key Points:
-Use the number 10 to create attacking overloads to score.

Set Up:
-60x35 pitch split into 3 even sections.
-1 large goal at each end.
-Split players into 2 even groups with 1 player on each station and excess at 1.
Exercise:
-Players pass and move in number order till ball gets to 4 and 4 takes a shot at goal.
-Once done 4 gets the ball and goes to 1 on opposite side (red join blue, blue join red).
-Players move to station they passed to.
-Players must move off at an angle to receive the pass from a player.
-Play for 3 minutes.
-Change to 1-3-4-2 shoot.
-Then 1-2-4-3 shoot.
-Finally 1-2-3-4-1 to shoot.
Key Points:
-Speed of the exercise is key.
-How fast the passes are as well as the movement from station to station.
-Look at shooting techniques.
