Organisation/Area size
each zone is 16x14 (total 16x28 with halfway line)
4 reds vs 4 blues + 2 whites (common players)
To start the reds and blues are fixed into their zones.
5x2min blocks. with the last block lasting 4 minutes where both teams will attack and defend as per a normal game.
Fast, intense practice which is why the blocks are only two minutes and allows the coach to rotate common players after each block as its very hard work for them.
EXPLANATION
Play will start with the coach feeding a ball into the two red defensive players. They are looking to combine and play the ball out to the wide common player.
The common players are positioned on the side of the field when building play, once they receive the ball they run past the mannaquin and into the opposite zone to create a 3vs2. They then look to combine with the two attacking red players to score past the GK. If blues regain possession in their defensive zone (zone 2) they can look to play into blue attackers straight away or use common players. Blues are to play quick counter attacking football, if the coach feels they are taking too long he will count down from 10 seconds in which they must score in that time.
HOW
The coach will only coach the RED team on how they can create and exploit overloads. work on the movement and rotations of players and how that can move the blues defensive shape about to help them score.
The coach will manage the blues making sure they counter attack quickly

Organisation
shooting practice.
Player 1 touches ball out of feet and shoots. Straight away turns and recieves a pass from the coach, he then turns and shoots. Coach then plays ball into player 2 or 3 they then take a touch and cross for player 1 who has made a run into the box to finish. Once he has had the shot he runs as fast as he can around cone A or B and out to furthest cone. This gives the players a bit of a HIIT with plenty of rest inbetween.
Practice starts again this time with player 4 and then player 5.
Coach rotates which player crosses the ball 2 or 3.
Lots of repitition Focus on shooting mechanics and pull players aside if technique needs attention do not stop drill unless whole group is struggling .
