Simple activation work to prep GKs for various actions.
Notably, get in a warmup of movement prior to activation
1) GK side on, server calls Turn, GK turns square to server for volley - Reps as desired
2) GK double-tap footwork over line/hurdle/cone then set for volley - Reps as desired
3) Spread save position for volley - stretch out hips and hamstrings - Reps as desired
4) Butt-Knees-Feet - get used to hitting the ground - Reps as desired
CPs: Build in pace as we go along, touching on footwork/handling/spread shape/diving, technique is important
Coach Note: College GKs especially for this activation routine.

One GK working, two servers
GK starts at post and facing side-on
Server 1 (near post) calls go - GK turns for volley, catches, returns ball to server
Server 2 (far post) plays shot for GK to dive and save (can be collapse or flighted)
Repeat to both sides - Reps as desired
CPs: Simple exercise to get the feet moving across the goal and stretching out more in the dive, check if launching technically well

Two GKs working, one or two serving (coach serve if needed).
Work done for 30-90 seconds depending upon age and desired result
1 - GK hops over series of hurdles (3 shown here). Back peddles to return to start.
- Single or double-leg hops
2 - GK hops over four hurdles (as shown), finishing with the front hurdle
- Upon landing, server strikes volley into bubble for GK to handle
- GK bowls ball back to server
- GK progresses to other post for strike from second server (note: challenge GK to make save)
Rotate to different roles. Work both sides of the goal.
CPs: Explosion from hops (land and go with no double touches), challenge yourself, quality set position and response

One GK, Two Servers
GK starts in middle of goal, moves to face out at near post
Server 1 strikes volley to hands, GK catches and bowls back
Server 1 then strikes inside for collapse dive
GK collects and returns
GK moves across goal to face shot from Server 2 - looking to score
GK makes save - all rebounds are live
Repeat
Progression: Middle server (blue) strikes volley to start
Progression: If wide shot misses target or GK parries out-of-bounds, then Middle server (blue) strikes a shot on goal from around the penalty spot (keeps GK thinking and engaged)
Progression: Have one of two wider servers start wider and provide flighted service into the GK
CPs: clean and sharp movements, set and balanced, making proper decision when tired/under pressure

Quick-paced, enjoyable exercise to work on close-range blocking with starfish / collection with smother
Three small goals with one GK in each goal
S1 passes to S2 (S2 approximately 2-3 yards max from each goal
S2 one-times a strike (reasonable weight) to one of the goals looking to score
GKs role is to block
Ball stays live until it is knocked out fo the grid
- if GK catches, can strike/bowl to score in another goal
Repeat sequence
Progression: Can add fourth goal (make a square) if necessary/desired
CPs: Stay low, positive angles, quick reflexes, correct reads
Competitive: If get scored on = out to rest. S2 goes to GK, S1 to S2. Resting player to to S1

Simple warmup up game, GKs in circle with one ball - group juggling game
Touch with single hand then pass in air with single foot
Next GK touches with one hand (in air) then passes (in air) with one foot
Continue until ball hits ground, then restart
Variation - add air mannequin in the middle and GKs push that into each other to distract
CPs: fun warmup, activates the mind/hands/feet, level of competition
