1V1 - Change direction (20 mins)

SET UP: 

  • 1 diamond or square 
  • 2 cones 8 yds apart

DEVELOPMENT: Player will practice his change of direction move to quickly accelerate towards diamond. 

  • Passing within diamond - take touch outside
  • Player dribbles to yellow station
  • Start 1v1 feint

Manchester United 4 square shooting (30 mins)

SET UP: 

  • 4 squares
  • Pile of balls behind setup 
  • 1 big goal

DEVELOPMENT: Player stands behind square

  • Coach randomly passes a ball into one of the squares
  • Player reacts, runs towards square and finishes from there
  • If ball goes right = right foot finish, left = left foot finish
