Technical: Back foot/front foot receiving. side on body shape, which foot to play passes into and why
Tactical: When is the moment to open up and play forward (option 1) and when should we check back to the ball with side on body shape and use front foot to receive (option 2)
Phsychosocial: Getting to know the players and have them get to know each other; mentailty while training
Physical: Side on body shape, hips open to centre of the park, movement on and off the ball to create good passing angles

Organization:
See figure. Each side has a 2 yard endzone with a target player in it. Yellows are working north to south and grays east to west. One ball for each group, extras at the sides.
Instructions:
Players select a number 1 to 5. That is the min passes needed to go between target players. Play for 1 minute. Team with the most points (1 pt target player to target player) wins the round. Play 3 rounds.
Coaching Points:
- Eyes up
- 1st option: Open up, receive on back foot
- 2nd option: Use front foot, side on body shape to receive the ball
- Hips to middle of park whenever possible.
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Player who passes to target player must follow pass, target player must take a touch out of area and join middle of the space.
P) Remove one ball. Teams now play against each other (must defend and find pass after winning the ball back). Play 1 minute games, team with the most points wins.

Organization:
See figure. Two endzones and sidelines. Teams play 3v3 or 4v4 to target players (based on numbers). One ball in play, the rest behind target players on each of the four sides.
Instructions:
Teams play 3v3 or 4v4 in the middle. Teams can score a point by connecting both target players without losing possession of the ball. Play 3 minute games. Team with the most points wins. If ball goes out of play or is not controlled, start ball with target player.
Coaching Points:
- Open body shape: Can you receive with back foot, and if not that front foot as first option
- Use of movement after double pass to expose space behind pressuring defender (If back foot is not on)
- Always have 4 options avalible (playing square, split, dribble)
- Use of link player to find target (indirect play) if unable to turn and penetrate directly
- Angles of support and mobility of players without the ball
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Rotate target players
P) Target players only have 2 or 1 touch
P) Central players only have 2 touches
P) Double points for getting the ball target player to target player in 2 passes or fewer
P) Target players must dribble out of zone with passing player taking their place

Juggling and SAQ (20 mins)
Organization:
See figure. Players in partners (or groups of 3) for juggling. Two even lines for SAQ dynamic movements.
Instructions:
Player groups must juggle the ball to center of area with trash can or tire for them to play ball into. Each player is allowed up to three juggles and one bounce between players. First group to juggle ball into can wins.
SAQ- Dynamic movements according to coach's command.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of movements
- Anticipation of where ball may be
- Communication between teammates
Progressions/Regressions:
P) No bounce between juggles
P) 2 juggles max each player
