> Resting players will be located in the 'Left Back' Position
Key Points
Ball starts with LCB who passes to RCB
RCB plays to CM who plays to RW, to CF, to LW and back to LCB as per diagram
After a pass is played the player follows to the next position e.g LCB goes to RCB and is replaced by a resting player
Coaching Points
LCB - play the ball in front of RCB so it can be recieved on the half turn
RCB - recieve ball on half turn and be aware of CM's movement
CM - make a 3 yard dash either way to lose their marker and receive on half turn
RW - pull wide to create space and ensure first touch is positive
CF - quality of first touch
LW - movement, either going wide or coming short to recieve of the CF
Progressions
2 balls at the same time
Introduce 1 or 2 touch maximum for each player
Add a passive defender on each position to add pressure
Rotate the drill and start with RCB
