⚽Practice Organization

  • 3 stage exercise with external loads. After specific time of execution, coach blows the whistle and gives a deep pass towards the 2 players. When receiving the ball players have to get into a 2vs1 relationship. When the finishing is executed players change positions in a counter clockwise manner.

⚽Key Coaching Points

  • 8 seconds strength execution
  • Top end players execute at each strength stage this specific exercises(weight Bag 8-10kg-hamstring single leg extension, side movement towards the sticks quickly-with 6kg vest)
  • Still counter clockwise switch
  • When players finish the strength execution orientate towards the ball from the coach and when they receive the ball it the goal is the objective
  • Players have to attack to the ball
  • Players have to attack the defender
  • Players need to have in their mind that we expect them to execute the exercise as realistic as possible. They are required finish the chance quickly and with effectiveness
  • Defenders that to defend the best way they can by choosing marking player or by delaying the expression of the finishing
  • Defender are required to defend with will and determination and assertiveness
  • Goalkeeper guides the defender with vocal instructions
  • Defenders have to defend the goalpost, prevent the opposition from making shots or set up difficulties and unstable situations which will make the finishing less effective and accurate
  • Player take off the vest and then start the attack
  • Defenders run fast towards the attacking couple but simultaneously controls their off the ball movements
  • We observe both sides the attack-defense for prospective mistakes on body positioning or playing principles
