Passing pattern to goal
E (#8) plays into A (#6). A lays to B (#10) who opens up and plays through ball for C (#9). C has one touch to either finish or set the ball for D or E who are in support.
Rotation - A, B, C, D, E
Three teams of 5 take it in turns to play through the pattern.
Coaching Points:
- Movement of #6 to check to receive ball
- Movement of #10 (open body, half turn)
- Movement of forwards (spin away to create the passing lane)
- Timing fo forwards movement (stay onside)
- Quality of passes
- Quality of finish/set
- Timing of movement of #8 (as ball travels) to join strikers

Instructions:
Same set up for the attacking team. One of the three teams now defend, with the other two taking it in turns to attack.
Defending team plays with a back two, plus one recovering midfielder who can play once A releases the ball to B.
Each team defendes for 10 balls.
Coaching Points:
- Movement and runs of front two
- Run of #8 to join play based on forwards runs
- Decision of #10, drive to commit center back or play early through pass
- If we cannot break to goal, then be patient and build a chance.

Two line SAQ Dynamic Warm up. Player perform various dynamic movements, whilst attempting to synchroize those movements within their groups.
