* Set up 2 squares (15x15) in diagonally opposite corners of area
* In one grid have 4v2 and the other 3v1
* Four attackers create an opportunity to release a player on a forward run so that player can run onto
the ball, get it under control then run forward to score a goal. One defender gives chase.
* Both players join in with the other grid to make it 4v2
* Repeat process back to the starting grid

* Set up a pitch 40 yds x 40 with cones 10 yards out from each goal
* 4 v 4 plus goalkeepers.
* Directional, aim is to score goals.
* Coach one side
* Start position is from the midfielder playing back to the goalkeeper - to encourage space straight
away as defenders pull wide.
* Look for opportunities to coach and practice coaching formula

Technique (10 mins)
* 10 players split into pairs, 5 gates placed within the playing area
* Player X moves forward with the ball and then plays pass through the gate for Player Y to run onto.
* Player Y gets the ball under control, moves forward towards next gate and plays a pass through the
gate for Player X to run onto.
* Instruct the runner not to go if the ball carrier does not have the ball under control
* Progressions: Let players progress to runs from behind the ball - Overlap
Let players play 'give and goes' if this becomes too easy
