Organization: 3-4 10 X 20 channels, 9-12 players, 1 ball per player, 12-15 cones
Instructions:
Player dribbles to the cone directly in front of him. Player performs chop and accelerates to the cone diagonally in front of them. Players repeat several times using both feet for the skill. Players then dribble diagonally to the cone in the middle and perform the maradona turn. Players accelerate diagonally forward to the end of the channel. Repeat skill with both feet. For both skills, player turns at the end of the channel and initiates eye contact with the next player to begin that player's turn. Player then dribbles back down to the other side.
Coaching Points: Controlled touches as approaching the cone. For the chop, lift both feet off the ground and cut the ball using the inside of one foot behind the other foot, diagonally forward. Accelerate into space with the ball. For the maradona, pull the ball back with one foot and begin pivoting and twisting. Use the other foot to pull the ball again and accelerate into space. Pick head up after performing moves to make next decision.
Progressions:
R- Start without the ball to show the movement
P- Make it a race to have all players go a certain number of times

Organization: 3-4 10 X 20 channels, 9-12 players, 1 ball per player, 12-15 cones
Instructions:
Players perform chop or maradona with semi opposed pressure.
The "defender" is tasked with trying to cut the player off at the middle without taking the ball.
Once attacker has successfully made it to the other side of the channel, the attacker then passes the ball on the ground to the next player in line and becomes the defender.
Coaching Points:
Head up to observe position of defender.
Time the turn or chop to just before the defender would reach the ball and use body to shield defender away.
Accelerate after move is performed.
Progressions:
P- Allow defenders to steal the ball, but don't allow them to go backwards. If ball is stolen, play is stopped and restarted as normal.
R- Force defender to stand at cone in front of attacker to give visual of defender.
R- Slow defender down to a walk

I+Defender may score on the opposite goals if they win the ball. Players continue to go quickly switching from attacking to defending to the back of the line
