3rd drill

"over the river press"
Players work in 2 teams - over the river press.
Press can buildup from 1, then 2 then 3 people pressing
Waiting players are blocking passing lanes in the river
4th drill

"3 pass switch with shots"
same as last game, but this time when the 10 passes are made, the players can drive into the 18yd box and score
Harder/easier: Make the squares larger/smaller. Touch rules. Time limits. Coach or small goals as GK

7v7 half field press, trying to stop the team playing out and into the small goals.
Teams swap sides at the break.

Warmup:

"Pressing squares"
3v1 or 4v1 pressing squares
Harder/easier: Make the squares larger/smaller. Make the player run around more/less cones. Touch rules. Time limits.
2nd Drill
Strength:
8x 1mins - 20sec break between
"Jumps, ladders and dribble"
Players start behind the closest cones, and progress to the furthest cones, attempting to jump over the cones without touching them as they increase in distance between the sets. if a player touches a cone, they go back to the start and try again.
1: both legs
2: right leg hops
3: left leg hops
4: right "side" hops
5: left "side" hops
6: left to right
7: right to left
8: both legs
