2. Aerial switch of play
3. Move towards the ball
4. Ask the Left and wide midfielders to move up and down the channels to support the defenders, mid and strikers.

FAST TRANSITION FROM ATTACK TO DEFENCE IN A DYNAMIC GAME 10 V 8 + GK
WHAT I TELL MY PLAYERS TO DO:
1. Blues try to score past the keeper
2. Blacks try and dribble to the red cones.
3. If blues lose possession they press quickly and try and stop blacks advancing to halfway line or complete 7 passes to get a point.
PRACTICE DESCRIPTION:
Set up as shown in the diagram.
Blues- 3-5-2
Blacks -GK-3-5
Play starts with Coach passing to a blue defender and they try and build up play and score past goalie.
Black team try and win the ball and complete 7 passes or dribble past red cones.
If Blues lose the ball they need to quickly transition from attack to defence, and try and win the ball quickly from new ball carrier.
Blues have to keep their shape.
KEY COCHING POINTS:
1. Wide wingers have to work hard up and down the channels to support either the defence, mid amd strikers
2. Players should make coordinated movements and keep shape.
3. Move the ball quickly.
4. Receive with back foot.
5. Play with head up
6. Spatial awareness and quality decision making.
