Notice how the 4 jockies backwards letting the 6 & 3 pressure the player with the ball instead of going forward to challenge the player with the ball. The 4 should only apply the pressure if no one else can.

The 4 should be screaming at the 6 in this scenario to slide and pressure the ball!

Notice how the 3 slides in cutting off the chance to attack in the middle and forces the player to pass the ball out wide.

Great illustration of PRESSURE - COVER - BALANCE

In this case the 6 can't get over to pressure the player with the ball in time so the 4 slides over and jockies slightly, slowing the attacker down so that the 6 can haul butt and provide COVER for the 6 that can now PRESSURE the attacker.

Notice how the 3 also slides in to provide COVER for the 6, and the 2 has slid over to provide BALANCE.

Hayley should be yelling "Allie, drop and cover for Maylie!!!". "Makenna, slide in and cover!!!"

Attacking team pulls back and switches the field.

The 2 immediately applies PRESSURE to the ball.

The 6 & 4 fall back in to COVER, and the 3 shifts over for BALANCE.
