Warm Up (25 mins)

7:30 - 7:55pm  WARMUP

       7:30  Frame (use whiteboard) - show difference between 2 styles of high press (9+10 vs front 3)

       7:35  F11 warmup 

       7:42  4v2 (v2)

Positioning Play - High Press (20 mins)

7:55 - 8:15pm  Positioning Play - High Press (then general play)

Front 6 (yellow) vs Opponent back 7 (orange) + 3 targets

Targets : Tas/Maddie/Bella

Orange : simulating Blacktown City

Start     : from coach

Later    : Mix it up, 3,4, or 6 to start. If played to 3 or 4, cannot go long 

Points   :

 1. Static - play along backline

               - front 3 and 10 react

               - 7/11 must be tight and block forward ball to target

               - 9 and 7/11 take 3 + 4, leave for fullback

2. Dynamic - start with coach playing ball in to back 4

               -  look for quick closing down 7/9/11               

               - look for 10 taking dropping 6, and other 2 mids taking opposition mids

               - if ball played into mid, cue for far 7 or 11 to drop into midfield

               - if ball won, goal is central small goal

Game Training 11v11 (20 mins)

8:20 - 8:35pm   High Press           

1. Play starts from U20 GK

2. Initially - play GK 3 or 4, backline to start high, press once ball received by 3/4.

3. Progression - play GK to 3/4/6 (or GK-2/5).

4. Free choice - GK to any short option.

5. Any thing - short or long (pressing defence to adjust).

Coaching Points :

1. Press of front 3, leaving far full back.

2. Press of 10 on 6.

3. Recovery of far 7/11 once ball played forward (stop high press)

4. If getting ball to free far back, our 2/5 pushes high to take and rest of backline slides across.
