This passing practice can be used as an activation in a lighter session. It begins with a focus with a basic combination in a central area before building into movement off the ball without changing the central players. Finally, based on triggers the pass in, the set and the pass out. Players are challenged to all become the central player by rotating in at the right time.

Method : Central combinations and developing rotations.
Two active players in the middle.
Players in the middle to work for 1 min before changing with outside. One player receives a ball from the outside player, who then sets to the other middle player, who plays to the player on the opposite side.
Player receiving the ball drops deep into the pocket the far side of the outside player passing the ball
Inside roles reverse after 1 minute - communication here is key

Method:
Progression :
Players in the middle to work for 2 min before changing with outside.
One player receives a ball from the outside player, then sets to the other middle player, who plays to the outside spare player.
The player follows their pass and runs around the outside player they have passed to.
The player who received the pass from the outside plays the central spare player again who sets the player running back in to play to the outside

Organization:
Line up all players on goal line. Begin with light jog to following touchline and back.
Method:
Introduce arm/leg movements alternating with light jog.
Finish with static stretching.
Aim to reduce heart rate back to resting rate and to stretch muscles to remove lactic acid build-up
Review the session - Encourage re-hydration and nutrition
