Space - 40x40 square

Time - 20 minutes

Equipment - Cones for square, 10 flats to make 5 gates (3yds), 2 sets bibs, footballs

Players - adapt to suit but 5v5 in this instance

Objective of game is for team in possession to combine with a teammate with a pass through a gate to score a goal - focusing on speed of support, reactions to opposition and switch of play

Progression(s)

Questions to consider?

1. How can we escape quick pressure?

2. How do we immediately support once a goal is scored?

3. Why anc how can we switch play?
