Passing (20 mins)
Set Up
30x30.
5x5 square in the middle.
Instructions
- Team 1 does technique for 45 seconds. Must run through the middle box receive the ball and dribble through the square before finding a new player with a ball on the outside.
** Make it a competition, first 3 players who complete 5 passes move on to championship round. Repeat with team that was on the outside. Play championship round.
- Pass and receive on the ground
- Overlap
- Wall pass
Coaching Points
- Adress coaching points after each round.
- Open up body and play side on, see the ball and square.
- Shoulder check.
- Pass with the inside of the foot.
- Take your touch towards the square.

Finishing (10 mins)
Set Up
- 4 cones
- One group facing away from the goal ( Attacking Group)
- One group Facing towards the goal ( Deefending group)
Instructions
- Each team gets 2min to attack and 2 mins to defend
- On go the first defender and first attacker race around the cone in front of their group.
- Players go 1v1 to goal. Ends after a tackle or a shot
- Imeedietly next two players go
Coaching Points
- 1v1
- 2v1
- 2v2
- 1v2
- Quick move and then shoot. Do not need to beat the defender completely.
- Keep the ball low and into the corners
- Planted foot to a corner, don't look up

Passing Patterns to Finish (10 mins)
Set Up
- 2 cones for defenders
- 2 side cones for midfielders
- 2 cones for defenders
Instructions
- Work on passing patterns to finish on goal unopposed
- Progress to having two defenders
- Defender to striker, to midfielder, back past
- Defender to midfielder, back to defender, switch the field to midfielder
- Defenders work on pressure over
Coaching Points
- Shoot for the back post
- Look into the striker to lay off the ball
- Midfielders hold run until striker lays the ball off
- If near goal line look for a cut back passdenders join in the attack
