Organization:
-35x45

Instructions:
-Players stand five yards apart and pass back and forth without taking a prep touch.
-After a few 45 second rounds, move players back to ten yards and play 2-touch passing.
Coaching Points:
-Non-kicking foot placed on the side of the ball pointing at the target
-Head up observe target
-Working on inside-push pass: use inside surface of kicking foot, heel down, toe up
-Strike through the middle of the ball
-Follow through the pass to target with passing foot
-Weight and accuracy of Pass
-Encourage quick first touch and remind them of the direction of the prep touch

Organization:
-2 25x20 yd grids set with cones and a line down the middle.
-5-6 players on each side of grid. 1 ball per side
Instructions:
-Players number themselves 1-5 and space themselves around their grid.
-Player 1 starts with the ball and passes to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5 and then back to player 1.
-After each player passes the ball, they must find a cone in their grid to run around. Must be a different cone each time.
Coaching Points:
-Move after pass
-Eyes on the ball
-Good weighted pass
-Find open space
-Put self in a good position to receive the next pass
-Communication

-Pick up middle line

Organization:
-40x40 yd grid, cones lining the field.
-Split in to two games. 3v3
Instructions:
-Teams are locked in to their own half.
-Attacking team is trying to complete as many passes without losing possession.
-Defending team can send one player over to try and win the ball and play back to their side(3v1).
-If attacking team completes 10 passes in a row, they receive one point at which time the defending team can send in another defender(3v2).
Coaching Points:
-Move after pass
-Eyes on the ball
-Good weighted pass
-Find open space
-Put self in a good position to receive the next pass
-Can't stand and wait for a pass behind other team. Must find gaps to receive pass in.
Progressions:
-Pick up middle cone and combine game to raise numbers
-Starts 6v2 and same rules apply for adding defenders.

Organization:
-4v4 Small-sided tournament games: 3 teams of 4 players each team. 1 field of 30x40 yards
Instructions:
-Players split into 3 teams (3 different pennie colors) of 4 and play 2 minute or Golden Goal games, winner stays on, losing team comes off & resting team comes on to play winning team. Team coming on gets to start the new game. This allows games to be short and sharp and keeps the tempo of the sessions and games high.
Coaching Points:
-Review of session's learning outcomes being translated into the game
- 3 lines of attack
- Creating diamond (gives angles of support)
- Making diamond as big as possible (Creating space)
- Identifying any chances to combine

100 Touches
Organization:
-10x10 Box
-Players inside box, each with a ball
Instructions:
-Players dribble around the box trying to avoid collisions with the other players.
-Players also want to make sure they keep the ball inside the box.
-Players race to get 100 touches
-When finished, players place their foot on top of the ball to let the Coach know they have finished.
-Rest of the players have ten seconds to finish their touches once a player has won.
Coaching Points:
- Ball close enough to the body, but not caught up under their feet
- Head up, avoid collisions and find open space
- Dribble with good speed
- Accellerate away from pressure
- Timing of move
- Messi/Ronaldo Touches
Progressions:
-Add rule #1, If a player collides with another player or dribbles outside of the square, their score goes back to 0
-Rule #2, If a player can take a Ronaldo Touch through two players forming a gap, they add 5 points to their score.
