Organisation
Two teams line up behind the cone at points A and B.
Each team works one half of the arrow.
One player from each team races against each other. (Loser to do 10 Sit ups / 10 push up / 10 Lunges)
Players sprint around the outside of each cone with the ball before sprinting back to your team.
Distance of each cone to be 10 metres apart from each other.
Progression
Add more markers in one or 2 of the legs to zig zag in and out.
Same drill but in a team relay. Players must tag the next person before starting their lap.

Sprints/Fast Feet (Some speed and agility with the football.)
20 metres apart with 6 or 7 cones 3/4 metre apart each. Leave at least 7 metres end gaps on either side.
1. Sprint, In & out with inside of both feet slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a side foot Volley before returning back.
2. Sprint, In & out with outside of both feet slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a laces Volley before returning back.
3. Sprint, ln and out with Right foot slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a jumping Header before returning back.
4. Sprint, ln and out with Left foot slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive on chest and volley back before returning back.
5. Sprint, Toe tap slalom between cones slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a half volley pass before returning back.
6. Sprint, Roll-over to outside of foot slalom between cones - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a one touch pass back before returning.

Shooting on the Run after a Slide Pass
1: Player A passes to Player B who then controls and puts a slide pass to player C.
2: Player C looks to control and runs towards the box to Shoot on Goal and Finish.
3: Player A now defends and as soon as Player B passes to Player C he then chases Player C trying to prevent him Scoring.
Progression:
a: Lengthen the distance to the goal.
b: Player B to play First time Ball
c: Player C to have a set time limit to score
d: Shortern the space between Player A and C.
Coaching Points:
a: Weight of the slide pass to be perfect
b: First time control of Player C to his advantage
c: Player C to cut across chasing defender
d: Player C to pick the corners to finish

Organization:
3 Attackers outside the Box
2 Wide Players on each Side
2 Defenders
2 Coaches or Players on the byline of the 6 yard box
Instructions:
Wide players play a wall pass between them with a pass to the winger to the byline for a cross to the 3 attackers to Score.
Once one of the attackers strikes, they must quickly back track to the edge of the box where they will recieve a pass back from one of the coaches on the byline for them to strike and finish.
Defenders start with passive defending then try to stop attackers scoring from the cross and then trying to block the strike from the pass from the coaches.
Coaching Points:
Communication - between the 3 attackers
Timing of runs in to the box
Striking the ball
Hitting the target
Scoring
Quality crosses to front and back post.
Angle and speed of approach.
Defensive stance.
Proper distance and spacing
Defenders rotate with Wingers every 12 crosses.
Then Defenders and Wingers change with Attackers and vice versa.

Transition from Attack to Defence (25min)
Grid size half field
3 team tranisition exercise.
Pink attack blue. Once blue gains possesion they must connect 3 passes before connecting a pass with Gray. Pink transitions into defending, gray attacks the big goal and blue exits on a sprint to half line.
Progression-Attacking team must restart with neutrals. Neutrals have a maximum of 2 touches to find a switch
