Session Objective:

Setup: Use appropriate play area 20x30 or 30x40 depending on player numbers 4 corners 5 yds in each corner. Split teams evenly. If odd numbers play with a neutral.
Activity. Objective passing ball and maintaining posession to move ball around the play area. Goal is to penetrate to score by playing one of your teammates into a corner square to earn a point. Game does not stop, after a "goal" play continues to cycle. Players can not score in the same corner twice in a row. If ball goes out of play, other team restarts with a throw in.

Wave Activity: Player A plays in to B. As ball is moving C is moving up to receive pass back from B. C then plays a through ball into space in the corner that A is running on to. After laying off to C, Player B takes a looping diagonal run inside to far post C attckes top of the box.
Progression 1: Add a defender on B

Equipment: 6 cones, balls, 6 players, keeper
Using quarter pitch, set up as shown. Letters (A,B,C,D designate players and B1, C1, D1, designate player movement spots)
Numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6 designate passing order)
Acitivty: A plays to B, who one touch passes back to A. A then plays to C and B begins to move down line while pass is on its way. C takes a touch and plays to new position of B (B1). D works across top of the box to D1 where they receive pass from B1 with their back to goal. C moves into top of the box position C1 where D vacated. Player D now plays back to C1 who finishes with a shot.
A takes B,s spot, B takes C spot, C takes D spot and D collects ball and joins other line going the other way
Progression: Add a defender between B and C
Progression 2: Add a defender beside D.

Setup two rectangles 10x30yds. (depending on number of players can add another rectangle). Place a row of 5 cones 1 yd apart with a ball at the end.
5 yards out from that set up 2 gates parallel to the way players are moving.3 yards off center on either side.

Split players evenly
Activity.
Competition lines compete against each other.
Start from side A. First player goes on coaches command, whatever cone exercise coach determines i.e. side shuffle, high knees, 2 foot jumps etc... at the end of the cone player collects ball and must dribble and make a "football move" (whatever they want:fake and take, maradona,soul roll etc..) through one of their respective gates, then to the top of the cones on the other side, leave the ball and complete the cone exercise through. High five the teammate on the other side who will repeat the other direction until all players have gone.
Repeat with a different cone exercise after each "lap"
Award points for team that finishes first.
