Game Related Practise
Organisation
25 x 25yd box split into 4 by a cone in the centre. Target players either end.
Variations
1) 2 ball multidirectional - central players must be in a different square
2) 2 balls - all central players must touch the ball before playing to a target player and swapping
3) 1 ball - competitive directional possession
Coaching Points
- Communication enabling rotation of central players
- Rotation from 1-2 to 2-1 in central area

Conditioned Game
Organisation
3v3 in central area (25 x 25yd) and 1v1 in either end zone (15x15yd). Players must stay in their zones out of possession. Ball must be passed through the zones. One midfielder can join attacker to create 2v1.
Variation
Players can dribble into next zone
Coaching Points
- Movement in central area to lose marker (rotatation)
- Maintaining 1-2 and 2-1 formation in midfield
- Movement to create space for others
- Timing and angle of supporting runs
