Organization:
1. Set up as shown (40x30yds)
2. Grid is divided as shown.
3. 16 players per grid.
4. THREE INTERVALS OF 3 minutes/30 sec rest
Instructions:
PART 1:
1. Players must stay in their defensive zone (grid).
2. Team in possession looks to pass the ball within teammates while attempting to reach teammates in 3rd zone (i.e. Black looks to find pass to black team players in next zone)
4. If defending team wins possession of the ball they look to play to teammates in next zone.
5. Scoring: 1 Point for finding penetrating pass, 1 Point for deflecting the penetrating pass, 2 Points for winning possession.
Coaching Points:
1. Immediate pressure, cover & balance. Ability to lead teammate next to you to perform his/her responsability.
2. Ability to force play wide to deny pass to target players.
3. Ability to fully compact defensive area (closest to the ball), visual cue will be to leave furthest quadrant open. (PART 2)
4. STAY CONNECTED: Denying penetration or switch of play is the ultimate goal.

Organization:
1. Size - 50x35yds
2. 13-14 Players Per Group.
Instructions:
The Yellow Team will be in a 4-2 Defensive Shape.
Attacking Group will be in a 3-4-1 Attacking Shape. 8v6 Game.
1. The Attacking Team (Black Shirts) looks to score in the THREE counter goals.
2. The attacking fullbacks (Black Shirts) are allowed to step inside the Zone A & B to build.
3. The defending Wide Mids (Yellow Team) are allowed to step into Zone A to defend when the fullbacks drop in.
6.If the Defending Team (Yellow Team) wins the ball the ball - They look to dribble penetrate or find a pass to teammate into the zone.
1. Defending Principle Role - Immediate Pressure.
2. Defending Principle Role - Provide Cover.
3. Defending Principle Role - Balance.
4. Defending Principle Role - Concentration & Compactness.
5. Remain Compacted to close down the lanes & to defend the space - Don't get split or outstretched.
6. Communicating as a unit - I Got Ball! I Got Cover! Force Play Inside! Force Play Outside!

Organization:

2. 14 - 16 players.
Instructions:
1. White team looks to score in 2 goals and/or find target.
2. Black team looks to defend collectively while denying penetration.
3. If Black teams wins the ball they will counter-attack to Large goal.
4. White can only defend the counter with 3 players.
5. Black team has 6 seconds to score the goal.
Coaching Points:
1. Force opposition wide or back. Prevent switching play and close your opponent in one part
of the pitch.
2. Players away from the football – stay close to each other, be compact and balanced. Act as a
team. Prevent turning and running into space.
3. Track forward runs/ Pass off sideways & diagonal runs.
4. Ability of players to make decoy runs to create space for penetrating runs. Player on the ball recognize moment to make penetrating pass and moment to make players commit off the dribble.

-Cones placed 5 meters a part for a total of 20 meters with 4 cones placed on each side of the grid 3 meters from the interior cones.
