Setup: Multiple grids. red cones = 8-10 yds. blue cones = 5-8 yds

Progressions

A) Pass through gates continuosly and follow with sprint to next line - 2 touch. Correct form. Arc run to line outside

Progress to 1 touch

B) Pass through gate and receiver tries to lace dribble with as many touches as possible to next line

B Progression) bell taps or toe taps to other line OR Roll Dribbles OR every step must alternate feet and push touch

C) pass from A and A runs down the middle towards B. B dribbler attacks A for 1v1 move. Play continues.

D) pass from A. B dribbles to between gate to middle, cruyffs, and passing back to line B. dribbler then opens up beside gate to receive on half-turn. 2 touch to send pass on to A. (Shown)

Pass and Move SSG

5v2, 5v3, or 6v3: Orange team (5v2) score by dribbling through corner gate after pass received. The center defenders play pressure/cover defense to win ball and play out to waiting team mates outside of grid. Then, possession changes to blue when that happens (3 orange out). (In example above: orange players are moving wide of gates in anticipation of teammate dribbling through gate.

Can add: 1) must dribble and have 2 players wide of gate and in split position between gate.

2) 2 passes before dribble

3) pass through gate for score.

Continuous 4v3

gates set up length of goal (corners)

Continuous 4v3 or 3v2: 4v3 attacks. They player that shot the ball or knocks it out of bounds for orange goes out, while blue brings a new ball on to pitch and plays 4 v3 the other way.

Look for space

Must have 1 forward, 1 back, and 1 split for each player.
