4v4 (4v3) Rondo (15 mins)
4v4 possession in 20x25 grid (or we can adjust according to #'s)
Objective:
One team is the possession team for 3 minutes. The defenders try to regain possession for a point. The server/coach plays a ball to the offensive team. The offensive team gets one point for each 5 consecutive passes. The defensive team gets one point every time they win a ball from the offense. Every time there is a loss of possession by the offense, a new ball gets sent in by the coach. After the 3 minute period is up, the teams switch roles. The defensive team plays high pressure defense. The team with the most points after the 6 minutes is up wins.
Progression:
4v4 (4v3)
The team in possession plays with all 4 players in the grid. The team that is defending has on player stand just outside of the grid to make it 4v3 for the possession team. If the 3 defenders win it the player that is out joins in and the other team has one player step out. Rotate player who goes out. Points earned for number of times possession regained.
