Setup:
2 teams of 8
2 grids of 20x20 separated
Activity:
Team of 5 tries to complete 10 passes for a goal.
Defensive team tries to win ball and score in counter goal.
Coaching Points:
~ Create a U shape across back line with #6 acting as pivot
~ Check shoulder as ball travels to see if switch is on
~ Look to skip a player when moving ball across field (faster)
~ Try play with a 2-touch rhythm

Intervals:
3 min + 1 min rest x 6 reps = 28 min
Setup:
1/3 of field with gates
1-4-2 vs. 1-3
Activity:
Ball starts with GK (goal kick and in hands). Also start ball with throw-in close to endline.
Attackers score through gates/puggs.
Defenders score in big goal.
Progressions:
+ Add more defenders (build to 7v6)
Coaching Points:
+ Face the field
+ Receive far foot
+ Look for numerical advantage (at least 2v1)
+ Use GK as support

Attacking team in 2-3
#10 vs attacking team's #4 & #5
Activity:
GK to begin play where team tries to build out of back to get ball into channel. Once in channel, team can send in two players to make 3v2 to goal.
Progressions:
~ Remove central zone

~ Look down field first, then short
~ Look to skip a line when passing
