Danger Zone

Organization:

  • A Large red box in front of our goal (danger zone)
  • Two teams, one with a GK, two defenders and three midfielders
  • Other with one striker, three midfielders and a defender

Instructions:

  • GK starts with the ball, red scores 1 point by kicking the ball out of the Danger Zone, or three points by kicking the ball through one of the two small goals (orange cones)
  • Blue scores 1 point by completing a pass inside of the Danger Zone, or 3 points by scoring in the big goal. 

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • Red: clear the ball away from the danger zone
  • Red: Move the ball to the outside (not the middle)
    Blue: Shoot at the first opportunity. If can't shoot, look for a pass.
