Attacking 1v1 Game (20 mins)

Game starts with Red team attacking 1v1 looking to score in mini goal that is diaganolly opposite from their starting position. Players can only score from inside the scoring zone. If the player scores or the ball leaves the playing area, the attacker leaves the ball and immediately transitions to defending the player from the opposing team who must look to attack right away. The defending player defends the entire pitch including in the scoring area. If the defensiveplayer wins the ball, he/she should look to connect to a waiting teammate who should leave their ball to receive the outlet pass in the 5 yard box. After defending, player retrieves their ball and returns to their line. Game is extremely high paced, play for time or to a score.

Scoring- 2 pt for a goal, 5 pts if the defender wins it and connects to their teammate.

Progrssion- allow players to attack either goal. Diaganol goal=2 pts, opposite goal=1 pt

CP- Recognition of when to attack at pace when defender is out of position and when to slow it down to use fakes/feints to get behind the defender.

Transition from offense to defense. Can waiting teammates recognize the moment to get in the box to receive the outlet pass.

Introduce 1v1 defending principles.
