Functional practise - 5V2
Description: Players are lined up 4 on the outide with 2 neutral players in the middle
players defend for 1 minute turn arounds
Players, key points:
1) Quality of pass - W , T , D , A
2) Movement - Constant 3 yard checks to recieve
3) Communication - Verbally & Non verbally
4) Disguise - Be unpredictable in yor play
5) Tempo - Play at a high tempo

1V1 - Circle pitch
Description: Players are going up against eachother 1v1 in a circle grid. To come onto the pitch the players must run around the left or right cone when the coach calls out the direction, progression: Recovery runs. Must touch the opposite goal after finishing.
Players, key points:
1) Speed first - Eat into space quickly and force the mistake of the opponent
2) No space - Small touches and manipulate the ball
3) Finishing - Shift and hit, accuracy key here
4) Positivity - Always attack, dont turn your back

2v2 - Forward passing and accuracy
Description: Players are lined up 2v2 with a target set man behind 2 footballs to knock off.
Players now have the decision of when to combine and when to go by themselves. Must get a pass off the bounce man to score though.
Players, key points:
1) Speed first - If its on to do instantly, do it when the defense is unorganised
2) No space - Small touches and manipulate the ball, remember theres a combination too
3) Movement - Delay runs after passing to the wall man, and constatly check
4) Disguise - Dont always play the obvious pass, especially in the final 3rd
5) Quality of passing - W , T , D , A

3v3 - Creativity to score
Description: Goals are placed at a difficult angle for the players to score so creativity is needed to unlock defensive shapes and to get into better positions to score. Can score in both goals first, then only the one goal
Players, key points:
1) Movement - Constant checks, especially when there are 2 goals to score in
2) Patience - When to combine and when to go alone
3) Speed first - If its on quick, do it quick
4) Quality of pasing - W , T , D , A

4V4 - Set and finish
Description: Players are looking to connect immediately after a set and finish in the goal, constant work rate and combinations to unlock the defenses
Players, key points:
1) Combinations - Out to in and forward passing if possible
2) Tempo - Play at a high tempo and dont allow opposition time to shoot
3) Blocks - All red zone work so blocks are important, get your body between the ball and the goal
4) Finishing - Focus on connection of the football and the accuracy will do the rest
