Organization
- 25 x 35 area set up as shown
- 6 players (3 Attackers, 3 Defenders)
- 2 Mini Goals set up as shown
- 1 Mannequin set up as shown in center of area
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity - (1)
- Players combine, move & pass the ball from one end to the other
- Players are set up in same positions as per previous exercise. The passing sequence is also identical to that of the previous exercise
- Once ball reaches player on the side (right or left) the activity now transitions into a 3v2 game
Activity - (2)
- Activity transitions into a 3v2 game, with Yellow players as Attackers & Red players Defenders
- Attacking players aim to score in either Mini Goal
- If Defenders win the ball they aim to work together & dribble the ball over opposite end line

- Movement: Awareness of team mate & ball, timing of movement to receive & play quickly
- Body Shape: Can you receive with open body shape to aid next action
- Pass: Accuracy, weight & quality of pass. Can you play 1 touch to speed up play?
- Awareness: Can you spot overload opportunities - create 2v1 overloads?
- Finishing: Be direct & attack quickly. Penertrate space infront, between & behind to attract Defenders!

Organzation
- 30 x 45 area set up as shown (area split into two by halfway line)
- 9 Players (4 Attackers, 3 Defenders & 2 Goalkeepers)
- 2 Full Size goals set up as shown
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Play begins from goalkeeper who plays with the Attackers (Yellow)
- Players are restricted to their zones (Yellows = 2 in each zone, Red = 1 in each + duel zone player)
- Attackers aim to build possession & attack goal at opposite end. If Defenders win the ball they can score also
- If ball goes out of play or a goal is scored, play begins immediately with opposite goalkeeper who must always play to Attackers (Yellows)
- After set time rotate the Defenders out

- 14 Players (6 Attackers, 6 Defenders & 2 Goalkeepers)

Activity
- Both teams aim to keep possession & score in opposite end. Game is directional
- Each team is set up in a 2-3-2 formation
- Unit's of both teams are "locked" inside their 1/3 (i.e. 3v3 in middle)
- Players are only able to move & support in next 1/3 when in possession of the ball to create overloads (see diagram)
- When possession is lost player must return
- Normal game rules are played: offisides, throw ins. However no corners for quick restarts
- Play always restarts from Goalkeeper

- Movement: Awareness of team mate & ball, timing of movement to receive & play quickly
- Body Shape: Can you receive with open body shape to aid next action
- Combination: Execution & timing of link play. Can you play 1 touch to speed up play?
- Awareness: Can you spot overload opportunities? Isolate opposition players 2v1!
- Finishing: Be direct & attack quickly. Penertrate space infront, between & behind to attract Defenders!

Part I - Technical (10 mins)
Organization
- 25 x 25 diamond set up as shown
- 1x Mannequin set up as shown in center of diamond
- 6 to 8 Players set up as shown around diamond
- 1 Ball (additional on outside)
Activity
- Exercise follows same same passing/movement sequence left & right: 1 to 6
- (1) central players checks away from behind mannequin to receive the ball
- (2) player who plays in supports pass & receives back
- (3) pass played to opposite end which is then set back
- (4) set back is played to player from mannequin who then plays round the corner wide (left or right)
- (5) checks away from pole to receive round the corner pass which is set back for give & go
- (6) give and go around pole, receive through ball & dribble to top
- All players move on one position forward
- Activity repeats with passing/moving sequence going opposite direction (left & right)
