Screen 1 (5 mins)

Method: Set up as above cones 15 meters apart and 5 meters off the line.

Initial Jog (3/4 pace) from cones 1-2-3-1. This is repeated 3 times.

Heel taps (3/4 pace) from cones 1-2-3-1. Once.

High knees (3/4 pace) from cones 1-2-3-1. Once.

Lunges from cones 1-2-3-1. Once.

High Kicks from cones 1-2-3-1. once.

Side sccissors facing left from cones 1-3-2-1.

Side scissors facing right from cones 1-3-2-1.

Backwards jog (3/4 pace) from cones 1-3-2-1.

Finish with 3 full sprints and turns from 1-3-2-1.

Method: Players stand 20 meters apart passing, taking a touch back and forth with week foot only.

Screen 3 (10 mins)

Method: Blue 1-2-2-1 White 1-2-2-1 and 2 yellow overload overload players that are with the team in possession going both ways.

Wing lanes established 5 meters in from each touch line the full lenght of the game area.

Only the overload wingers allowed in wing lane and only 3 touches allowed in attacking half of wing lane.

Play starts at either goal and first pass into the full backs (1st pass cannot be to wingers) to work the opportunity to score. If it breaks down a quick transition to defend. 

Coaching Points: Verbal and non verbal communication, Vision, attention to where team mates and opposition are on the pitch.

Wingers body shape and first touch to collect and deliver the ball on both feet. 

Movement and always being available.
