Play 2v2 inside a 20x20 box.
Players work in pairs.
Whites play for 30 secs using all outer players to keep the ball.
If they lose ball or if the black pair win it the game stops - the blacks take over on the ball and the next pair from outside become the chasers.
Progress by allowing only same colour players on the outside to be options to keep ball.

Players work in pairs through the SAQ circuit and race the ball passed in by the coach to shoot at goal. After each turn, one of the players return the ball back to coach and both players return to the start but at the opposite side.

Play 2v2 in 3 zones.
Whites start by dribbling or passing into 1st zone, and supporting, thus creating a 3v2, and trying to progress this way to zone 3 to pass into keeper to score.
If possesion lost then blacks start similarly from other end, whites rotate by feeding players forward until 1 striker goes off to become a new feeder.
*movement to receive and set - high and low
*bringing others into play - ie easy pass into lower zone to allow supporting player to advance

Now add goals and gks and wingers who play 1v1 in the channel.
Out of possession the wingers cannot play in the attack zone, this allows for a 3v2 + GK when playing out.
Previous rules persist.
Progress by allowing wingers total freedom in the channel - ie to press opposition when playing out.
Progress again by allowing wingers to swap with other players on the fly.
Progress again by allowing a central player to enter the channel to cause a 2v1 - only when in possession.
Progress again to demand the final assist from the winger.

A (feeder) plays to B (high) who sets for C (low), who passes to D.
Low follows his pass to D q, and A replaces him as the new high as ball coming back from D.
Progress by adding movement across for B and C.
Progress again by adding a defender, who should initially stop the high player from turning, thus forcing the set. This can develop into both showing high, the feeder decides the pass and the low player reacting accordingly.
