Set Up:
10v6 in 50x30 split in half.
Exercise:
Whites and Yellow possess and keep away from Red with the object of playing through to the Yellow targets on the other side.
Reds prevent the opposition from finding 6 or 10 or playing through to the targets on the other side.
Coaching Points:
Reds stay compact.

Set-Up: 20x10 on either side of the halfway line. FB and wide player v mid and forward. 4 players, 1 server, and a supply of balls.
Exercise: Whites defend the 2 goals and try to find the server when they win the balls. Reds try to score in either small goal. 5-6 balls then switch roles.
Coaching Points:
When to drop and when to press.
Use the sideline to the defender's advantage.

Set Up:
Possession team has GK, back 4 and 3 mid. The defending team has 3 mid and 3 forwards. Half a field to 2 small central goals.
Exercise:
Whites possess to find small goals. Reds must stay compact to prevent the whites from finding the goals or dribbling over the line.
Coaching Points:
Make play predictable.
Stay compact.
Recognise opportunities for individuals (bouncing or slow ball, bad touch, facing own goal etc.)
