Footwork Exercises Post Ramp Up:
Aim to increase proprioception and focus on speed/mechanics of feet prior to running grids.
Standing Behind A Line- Single Leg Hop Forward & Back 5 each leg x 2 sets
Standing To The Side of The line Single Leg Hop Sidewards Over the Line 5 each leg x 2
Standing Behind The Line But Facing It- Aiming For Quick Feet Forward & Back Over The Line 10 reps- rest 45-60s x 3
Standing To The Left Side Of The Line- Aiming For Quick Feet Laterally Both Feet Beyond The Line x3 then Change.x3 sets
5-10-5 Exercise = 20 yards In total
Aim- Focus on speed of turning finishing fast
Starting At point A, Run to B 5 Yards away, Then Run to C 10 Yards away to return and finish at A 5 yards away.
Recovery 45-60s seconds x 10 sets (5 sets going both directions turning off both feet )
Endurance Running- Aim To Cover 1.2km
Set Cones Apart 22 yards-44 Yards-66 Yards.
Starting at Point A- Run to first cone and back to A- Second Cone back to A & 3rd Cone then back to A
( Repeat this 5 times without stopping as fast as you can. )
