3 teams = royal blue, black, white +1 (baby blue)
Area = 22x10 with pugg goals in each corner
60 sec reps - 2 teams vs third team +1 for team(s) with possession
Instructions:
Possession 5v3 for team(s) with possession
Attacking teams starts with 10 points, trying to keep all 10.
Pressing team tries to win the ball and take away points from attacking teams -1 point if they force ball out of bounds, -2 points if they can dribble to any sideline under control, -3 points if they score in pugg goals.
Coaching Points/Questions:
Without the ball:
Hunting the ball together - first player don't stop short, second player read next pass
Don't get split - compact, force the ball into predictable areas
Work for 60 seconds/run hard to regain possession
Posititve in possession when we win - maximize points.

Instructions:
Ball always restarts from goal kick for team in possession.
Team in possession can set up however they want, opposition must start in their own half.
Play is live as soon as ball is played in.
Coaching Points/Questions:
Team in possession:
Quick ball movemenet/decision-making and positional discipline
Team in recovery mode:
1st/2nd defenders = pressure/cover
Sprint all the way/together
Stay compact.
Progressions:
2x points for goals scored if team in possession doesn't have possession in their attacking half.

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
2 teams
2 grids ~ 8x8 each
2v1 in each grid
60-90 sec reps - switch out defenders and attackers after each rep.
Instructions:
2v1, play for 60-90 seconds
Attackers earn 1 point every time they connect a pass across half line.
Defenders earn 1 point if they can win ball/dribble under control to the sides, 2 points if they can connect with a teammate (2nd defender or target players on either end).
Coaching Points/Questions:
Without the ball:
first defender - don't stop short, get attacker's head down, force a mistake.
Second defender - read next pass.
Work for 60 seconds/run hard to disrupt and gain possession

Progression:
Add third player (More difficult to defend).

Shrink space.
