Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Receiving The Ball While Under Pressure

Description

-Players work in three groups, onegroup on the outside as feeders, one group inside in possession, and the finalgroup inside out of possession.

-Players in possession pair up witha player out of possession.

-In possession players aim toreceive the ball from the outside, and either play a pass back to the originalpasser, or to another player on the outside who does not have a ball at theirfeet.

-In possession players must movethrough the central box before receiving the ball from another outside player.

-If an out of possession player winsthe ball successfully through interception, roles are switched, and they becomein possession of the ball, until such time that they lose it.

-After a few minutes, switch theoutside players and rotate the roles.
