Activity - Box and Weave Footwork + Handling w/Short 1v1 (20 mins)
Objective - Work footwork and handling while introducing basic 1v1 concepts
- 1) GK touches cone (colour called by coach) and takes service (repeat 2-4 times per rep)
- 2) GK performs footwork through cones
- 3) GK faces two 1v1s on mini goals from other GKs (server MUST take touch otput touch/time limit if necessary)
- Footwork - chest/shoulders square to ball; quick, balanced movements, upper body still
- Handling - watch ball in, appropriate choice of technique, good hand shape, catch out front
- 1v1 - low, compact set. Be brave. Close space on their touch. Don't turn your back/shoulders.

Game - 4 Goal 1v1 Battle (20 mins)
Objective - Expose GKs to 1v1 scenarios in a fun, competitive, unpredictable environment
- 1) Coach serves ball to server in grid who can score in any goal
- 2) All keepers must be prepared and set to face shot
- 3) Ball is not dead until a keeper has held it, or it leaves the grid
- Low set, always following the ball and prepared for any deflection
- Introduce techniques of block, smother
- Bravery to control your area
- Communication to claim loose

Game - The Pit (20 mins)
Objective - Warm up and practice shot-stopping in a fun and competitive environment
- 1) Keepers are all in "the pit" (a grid), doing ball familiarity warm-ups
- 2) Each keeper has a number, when their number is call they move into the goal to face 2 shots from coach
- 3) If they save both, they move to winners box, if not they return to the pit
- 4) Last keeper in pit is eliminated (they still participate in the drill, but cannot be the winner)
