Organization:
-use dimensions of the penalty area, and mark the field's center point with cones
-use cones to extend center line to create better angles to shoot (see diagram)
-2 goals
-organize players in a 4v2 (4 defenders & 2 attackers) in each half
-players are restricted to their half
-soccer balls
Instructions:
-defenders must shoot from their half
-forwards follow shots from defenders and look to finish any rebounds
-if GK saves a shoot, she quickly distributes the ball to their defensive team and play continues
-if ball goes out of play or over the net, get new ball and resume play quickly
Coaching Points:
-take shoots
-forwards follow any rebound and get in the GK area
-limit touches to take quick shots
