Set Up: Area into 3 zones, sizes depending on intensity & how many players. Players in 3 teams.
Format: Players are locked into their zones & look to move the ball around their area identifying opportunities to play a long pass. Central team look to block switches of play to swap places.
Progressions: A player from middle zone can enter the area to put pressure on possession team, they must move back central when ball switched & a different player enters the opposite zone.
place a goal at each end & if def wins ball they shoot to score & swap place with attacking team.
Key Points: Quick movement of the ball to open up the midfield players to create opportunities to switch.
Movement to create space to receive the ball (triangle/diamonds) or angles from opposite end to enable to ball to be played through.
