When counter attacking with the ball at pace, passes should be going quickly forwards, backwards forwards and so on to confuse opposition players. (Blue Lines)
If balls are passed square then it gives the opposition time to recover.

Our 4-3-3 system has 5 destinct Lines to play through (Indicated by the dashed lines) and breaks the field up into sectors. A,B,C,D and E (Band D are highlighted)
Unlike the 3rds, these lines are fluid and move up and down the field when the team has (Or does not have) the ball.
When playing the ball into the sector directly in front (A-B. B-C etc) passes should be made DIAGONALLY and not square. This will enable the player recieving the ball to play forward at a quick pace. (Green Lines)
When playing into a sector 2-3-4 steps beyond play can be a little straighter (Blue lines) as players will then be able to play with back to goal back 1 line to go forward again to create space
