2 x goals & Goalkeeper gloves

8 - 10 players - can scale, one team will have will have an overload (10 players would involve two teams of 4, with one team able to use the goalkeepers which will be 6v4 overload)
1 team (yellow bibs) - possession team, keep the ball using the goalkeepers / target players.
Other team (red bibs) if they win ball back, they can score in either goal. If they score they become the team in possession (using the target players / goalkeepers) - Scoring earns you possession, and that team that wins possession tries to keep possession to the end of the 6 minute game.

KEY OBJECTIVES
During this session the players will develop their understanding of:
- attitude to pass forward
- body shape for passing forward (side on, can we see both goals)
- turning to pass forward
- movement off the ball
- attacking in moments of transition.
Key Points- Try to Play Forward
- Try to keep the ball if you cant play forward (shield or hide the ball)
- Try to attack quickly if you win the ball back (transition / counter-attack).
- Body shape when receiving the ball (open body to see both goals if possible)
- Use Effective Questioning to help develop individual player challenges (what are you good at, can you show me)
Blues have to try and pass the ball to their team mate in the end zone when they are in possession (1 goal), reds will try and pinch the ball back and quickly attack and get the ball forward to their team mateReds have to try and pass the ball to their team mate in the end zone when they are in possession (1 goal), blues will try and pinch the ball back and quickly attack and get the ball forward to their team mate
Once the ball is received by the player in the end zone, the ball is passed to a player in the other team.
Progression
1. Link the practice to the format of the game that the players play, if retreat line is in play, then enforce the retreat until the ball is played.
2. If a team scores, they get to keep the ball but attack opposing end.
3. Link the practice to the formations and positions of the game.
