Coaching Points:
As much as possible encourage to attack the left foot of the defender
Off-Ball Positioning:
The Possession Line: Position 1 on diagram. This positions ensures that we keep possession but does not eliminate the defender. A possession line / pass shifts the defenders position and can be used to create the elimination pass/line.
The Elimination Line: Position 2: This is the passing line and off-ball player position that eliminates the defender on the first touch. The role of the receiving player is to accelerate the play forward on the first touch. To open up the elimination line, the on-ball player must engage the defender and get her to shift her weight
The Interception Line: Position 3: This is the passing line that is played through the line of the defender. This may also be called the shadow space, where the off-ball attacker is hiding in the shadow of the defender. This position allows the defender to intercept the ball. If playing in the shadow/intercepting line, the off-ball attacker must make double leads / s leads in the defenders blind spot.

This is an addition variation of the Box + 1 - where players are put in teams of three. One team goes horizontal across the square. The other is trying to go vertical. The attacking player with the ball on the endline/sideline can join the grid to make a 2v1. When the ball starts on the opposite side - only 1 player can begin in the central space
