Pirate Ship Game
This fun exercise works on multiple different disciplines within football. Movement, coordination, balance, dribbling, shooting.
Set Up - Chiuldren are crew members aboard a Pirate Ship. The Captain has asked the crew to clean 1 side of his ship. On the command "Captain is Coming" the players put 1 foot on the ball and salute Aye Aye Captain.
1- Scrub the decks ( Dribble the ball to clean the ship)
2- Climb the ladders (Toe taps to get to the top of the ladder)
3- Seagulls are coming (Dive on the ball to protect it from Seagulls)
4- Ship is sinking (Quickly Dribble over to the other side of the ship)
5- Man overboard (Leave ball behind to jump overboard)
6 - Shark Attack (Run quickly back to the ship to find your ball)
7- Fire the Cannons (Shoot the football into the opposite goal)
8 - Land Ahoy! (Have next game setup as a treasure hunt on a Desert Island)
