Organization:2 pug goals near each sideline. Coaches have all the balls in the center. Create two lines A and B at half line. Start with a one player in each pug goal who is a defender.
Activity:Each line moves independently from one another to get more players working at one time. Coach passes to player in the front of the line (1), player dribbles taking on the defender (2), passes to teamate (4), makes a run passed the defender (4) and recieves a pass(5), then turns and shoots in pug goal (6). If player misses, he becomes the defender for the next player and the original defender moves to the back of the line. IF PLAYER MAKES PUG GOAL, then he continues to big goal where coach plays a ball just outside goalie box (7), player runs (8) and shoots from outside the 18 yard line (9).
Variations:Switch players to other line after a sufficient period of time to work on opposite foot. For a competition, have players keep track of how many goals they scored, on net in the big goal. Can have an elimination round between top scores to see who the top dog is! Players not competing can give passes and be defenders. Can also add a keeper for added pressure.
Coaching Points: Staying onside is key. Can the attacker stay onside, wait to make his run until his teamate has kicked the ball. Coach the teamate to pass quickly (5) so the attacking run (4) stays onside.

Coaching Points:Footwork is key. Keep ball close to body and sheilded away from defender. Once the attacker needs to accelerate passed the defender, make that move with confidence and don't hesitate. Once they get passed the defender, shoot quickly. They do not need a large window to shoot the ball. They must beat the defender before they can shoot, no shooting the second they recive the pass from coach. Shooting on big goal, pick a corner of the net, high or low.
