Speed and Agility work (10 mins)

Start at point 1 with quick feet over agility ladders.

Then move onto point 2 and diagonal sprints between the tall cones as shown.

Continue the sprint then towards point 3 where players then shuttle between the 3 coloured cones, ie to red cones and back to base line, then to yellow cones and back and then to blue cones and back.

Repeat circuit 3 times, resting breaks will be back at point 3 awaiting the circuit to become free to start

Finding the central midfielder 1 (20 mins)

3v3 in the area with two target players set up in the squares centrally as shown. These players will act as the central midfield players who the rest of the players will look to find in order to cause an overload and link the play up.

Target players play for the team that is in possession.

3v3 with one neutral player who plays for the team in possession, aim is to dribble the ball through either of the two gates on the opponents side.
