Operates on both sides with Players C & D turning to receive from incoming players as soon as they've set back to starting players.
A plays to C and follows run - C plays to B who receives and plays in to D (who turns to receive and play back back to A)
High tempo passing drill which works on control, passing (long & short), turning to receive, communication and mobility.
PROGRESSIONS:
#1 - get A & B to crossover and make diagonal runs in towards D and allow free choice of passes
#2 - add wide players in to the wide channels to add width and diagonal ball options in 4-man attack plays
#3 - get the players to make recovery runs back to the side they started on instead of going to end of opposite side - to make it game realistic if an attack breaks down
#4 - add in goal and get players to finish attack with shot on goal with GK
My players really like this drill
