Activity 2 - Steal & Score 1v1s
Blue player has to protect the ball for as long as they can. The player in red must try and win the ball off the blue player and turn to score a goal in the goal scoring area. They can score in any goal. When a goal has been scored, change over and now it is the red player's turn to try and keep the ball for as long as possible and the blue player must try and steal the ball.
2 reps at 3 minutes each (Keep score between the pairs). Use the technical coaching points to re-up how to win the ball. Do the same as in the previous activity, each repetition will consist of one coaching point to be focussed on.
2 reps at 3 minutes each of 2v2s

1) How can you move around the attacker to win the ball?
2) Where can you force the attacker to your advantage?
3) Now you have won the ball....
- What can you do? (Protect the ball)
- Where can you go? (Find the space)

Activity 3- Steal & Score 3v2/3v3s
Players now have designated goals to score in.
4 reps at 4 minutes each (Keep score between the groups). Use the technical coaching points to re-up how to win the ball. Do the same as in the previous activity, each repetition will consist of one coaching point to be focussed on.
Rep 1 - Free Play
Rep 2 - If you score with 2 touches = 3 points
Rep 3 - Weaker foot goals = 5 points
Rep 4 - You can not score until the other team has scored.

Game - 6v6
Focus Points
1) Focus on the GK (What can they use? Hands - How can they distribute? Roll)
2) When the GK has the ball (Goal Kick or save) where do the 2 defenders go? Wide - Then where do they go to after the ball has been distributed? Central. WHY? To cover the space.
3) Soccer Savvy = Quick Throw in. WHY?

Activity 1 - Steal & Score
Reds will look to try and keep the balls in the playing area. The blues will look to try and steal the soccer balls and put them in the corners. When a red player gets a ball stolen from them, their job is to now help one of their team mates.
The winning team is the team who can steal the balls the fastest and then put them in the corners.
Play until all of the soccer ball are in the corners. (Players who are stealing the balls - Think about where you are when you steal the soccer ball)
Technical Coaching Points - Each repetition to be coached in this order
1) How can you move around the attacker to win the ball?
2) Where can you force the attacker to your advantage?
3) Now you have won the ball....
