Objective : By doing a different set of range of passing doing short and long passing while using both feet. Passing to a target player standing still or moving.

Skill Practise (Second Progression) (5 mins)

Layout Skill practise as showing above.

Players Split into groups of 2 1 ball Between Each.

Players standing at the cones.

Players will now have to play passing on the ground for a minute or 2 to get use of the distance and power they need. Once they are use to it, they will then have to play a lofted pass to there partner.

Correct Technique/Body Posistion/Foot movement/Foot Placement/Follow Through.

Adaptations

If they arent passing straight from the distance shorting it so its closer. Ensure them to take there time there in no rush. If there is more players than showing in diagram add more cones at each end.

There will be 2/3 extra balls at each corner of the skill practise so if the ball goes out of the drill then there is footballs there to get back into it.

Palyers will be split onto a cone each and 2 cones with have 2 players at them.

Players standing at the cones.

The passes will go as showing starting from top left. Playing a 1-2 shot pass then play a lifted pass diagonal then he will play a 1-2 with the person on his left at the corner and continue on. Advised not to add 2 footballs as it is a complex drill and balls can go everywhere and people can get mixed up if changing direction.
