3. Be able to protect key areas of the penalty area when ball is wide in final third.

4 x 4 minute games (1 minute rest)
Rules and Conditions
Back 4 against Attacking 3 in each half (must stay in their half). 2 Neutral wide players on the outside flank on each side. Central midfield players can move between halves. Teams to work the ball into wide players (who cannot be tackled although crosses can be blocked) for crosses into the area. Attacking team trying to score, defenders trying to counter attack. Neutrals on each side can work together to create 2v1 on full back.

Rules and Conditions
Players go through PEP routine including Motor Movement, Dynamic Stretching, Strength, Plyometric and sprint (with changes of direction) phases. Focus on techniques and landing mechanics. Use resistance bands for strength development and Post Activation Potentiation.
